Dead Man Down (2013)

In New York City, a crime lords right-hand man is seduced by a woman seeking retribution.
Dead Man Down is a really good film that is deeper than how it is portrayed. If you’re expecting to see a bland shoot-em-up, you’ll have to look elsewhere. If you want something that will grab you and pull you through crime-ridden streets with a good amount of feeling, I recommend seeing this. Unfortunately, you will probably not be persuaded by an overage of trailers and press; you’ll have to do what I did and take a leap of faith.
